INFORMATION The Confucius Institute of University of Debrecen will hold its Lunar New Year gala evening 8th February 2020. The event will establish a tradition to look forward to in the future as well. According to the Chinese calendar 2020 is the year of the rat which stands for a new beginning and rebirth. Therefore, we would like to give a taste of the traditions of the Chinese people living in our region with the help of the different performances among them traditional Chinese music, dance, and martial art. Furthermore, we intend to enrich the evening with giving you an insight of the lively everyday life of Debrecen hand in hand with that of our university.
