DAY OF HUNGARIAN SCIENCE

• As part of the Day of Hungarian Science the Sociology and Social Policy Department of the University of Debrecen, the „Nagyalföldi” Interdisciplinary Department of the Hungarian Sociological Association and the Geriatric and Socialgerontology Work Board of Debrecen’s Academic Board organised an online conference on 21st November 2020. The presentations were organised around the social inequalities related to gender, age and ethnicity. In four sections 28 presentations were performed. Different age groups and social groups were in the focus, in these contexts the presenters reflected on the current social inequalities of the subject. In the sections some of the fundamental social institutions were examined (education, family), several presentations were associated with the aspects of regional inequalities.
