On April 20, dr. Pusztai Gábor, associate professor of the Department of Dutch Studies, gave a lecture in Dutch at a symposium on the Hungarian Protestant galley slaves.
The event was organized by the Hungarian Embassy in Hague at the Muzee Scheveningen to commemorate Michiel de Ruyter and the rescue of the Hungarian Protestant galley slaves in 1676. At the symposium lectures were given by Frits de Ruyter de Wildt, the president of the Michiel de Ruyter Foundation, and dr. Pusztai Gábor, associate professor of the Department of Dutch Studies at the Faculty of Arts.
