International Instructors Meet

All are welcome to the event titled Mexican Día de Muertos: Intangible Cultural Heritage and Potluck organized by the North American Department and the Institute of English and American Studies, which will feature our Mexican guest lecturer, Agustín Cadena's presentation on the traditions and customs connected to this unique celebration.   Date and time:  November 6, 2019, 6 p.m. Studio 111.

As part of this year's Night of Museums events, Dr. Balázs Venkovits, assistant professor at the Institute of English and American studies and curator of the exhibition entitled "Revolutionaries, Travelers, Emigrants - Hungarians in America" will give a guided tour both in English and Hungarian on 22 June. Venue: Museum of the Reformed College of Debrecen. The Hungarian guided tour starts at 6:30 pm.

This time a distinguished guest lecturer will elaborate on the relationship between fashion and sustainability.
