The Institute of German Studies of the University of Debrecen and the German Cultural Forum of Debrecen organized an international translation conference on April 22. The online conference focused on the difficulties and challenges posed by the pandemic that translators and trainers involved in translation training faced during the epidemiological period.
For the second time in two years, the Department of English Linguistics (DEL) hosted the DEL Language Fair on April 22, where MA and PhD students had the opportunity to present their research on a variety of different languages in front of an audience of students and faculty members. An important goal of this workshop series is to create a platform for both undergraduate and graduate students to talk about their research projects and receive feedback from fellow students and faculty.
The conference titled ’Writers’ Economy in the 19th-20th Centuries: Undertaking and Investment from Kazinczy to Jókai and beyond’ was held online on the 29th and 30th of January, 2021. The event was organised by the MTA-BTK Momentum Political Economy of Hungarian Literature Research Group and University of Debrecen.

The 20th National Conference of Education Science hosted by The UD Institute of Educational Studies and Cultural Management and The Maria Kopp Institute for Demography and Families ended successfully. This year's conference title was: "Family in the Focus of Education". These conference series were initiated by The Hungarian Academy of Sciences and its Scientific Committee on Pedagogy which oversees the implementation of its activities. In the framework of the Hungarian Science Festival program series. The Conference is organized by a distinct university every year.
